The North-East region
The wealth of the North-East region in agricultural potentialities provides promising investment opportunities in the following fields :
- Creation of integrated arboriculture-based projects, namely for apple trees and pear trees in the Manouba Governorate, citrus in the Nabeul Governorate, the intensification of irrigation farming in the Ariana governorate, in particular added value crops such as organic farming and flower growing in the Manouba and Nabeul Governorates.
- Storage and conditioning of agricultural products, preservation and semi-preservation of vegetables and fruit, transformation of agricultural products, packaging of vegetables and fruit in the Nabeul, Tunis and Manouba governorates.
- Ostrich breeding and rubbit production.
- Wood industry, extraction and refining of vegetable oil, exploitation of pharmaceutical plants in the Zaghouan, Bizerta and Nabeul Governorates.
The Center-East region
The wealth of the region in agricultural potentialities provides investment opportunities in the following fields :
- Organic agricultural export-oriented production (olive oil, fruits…)
- Floriculture and ornamental plants
- Medicinal plants’ growing
- Breeding of heifers, camels and thoroughbred horses
- Agricultural consultancies.
- Refrigerated transport of agricultural products and seafood
- The aquarium
- Oil packaging
- Refrigeration and conditioning of agricultural products and sea food.
- Agricultural products’ transformation industry, milk and vegetables drying.
